Introduction
This activity encurages pupils to tackle one of life’s biggest questions: “How did the Universe and everything in it begin?”
Every recorded civilisation and religion has some form of answer. For some people the answer lies in religious books and scriptures. For others it can be found in observations and calculations.

Activity

Design an A4 poster showing how people who hold a particular worldview answer “How did it all begin”.

The poster should show:

• evidence of research into the way that one or more worldviews answers this big question
• a personal opinion that draws from the research
• an imaginative and attractive design
