I like R.E because it allows people to understand different cultures and societies and how they approach everyday things such as what you can eat or drink and what is acceptable in different societies because of religion. It also gives you a chance to be able to learn more about your own beliefs and/or religion and be able to talk with confidence and reassurance that other people know about your religion too. I do not properly believe in any sort of religion, but I still enjoy discussing religious topics and how different subjects like music and history are linked to religion. I think religious education is a very important part of the curriculum and of life. We need RE because religion and culture are all around us and we cannot help but ask questions about them.
