 Religious education received at school is a formative part of the Jewish experience. It imbues our children with a strong Jewish identity, connects them with Judaism's values and traditions and encourages them to be good citizens. And studying RE is of vital importance to schoolchildren of all backgrounds. It enables them to understand and respect those of other faiths that form the fabric of our society.
