There are always opportunities for SACREs to work with their schools and communities. This article provides suggestions on how to forge stronger links locally and nationally and also leave a lasting legacy.

Ideas include developing and supporting events in the locality, supporting local schools as they organise RE events, setting up a local competition, or devising a  trail. SACREs are also encouraged to have an ‘Open House’ or a ‘Meet the SACRE’ event linking schools, civic dignitaries, faith leaders, local politicians and councillors and raising the profile of RE across all communities.
